Long-time client, Major League Soccer (MLS), looked to BDA for its annual hospitality gift program for the 2016 All-Star Game in San Jose, California. The. MLS sought to increase positive brand perception and generate buzz among partners with a gift theme drawn exclusively from the San Jose region to truly “wow” recipients.
BDA merchandisers researched San Jose history and modern-day Silicon Valley and provided the client with more than 150 creative and regionally-inspired gift ideas. MLS chose the best of the best: a gift of modern technology with a historical twist. BDA developed and kitted picture-worthy gifts including a Polaroid camera, mobile charger, selfie light, and earbuds.
BDA delivered 1,350 gifts for league partners and high-level execs and raised the bar for MLS thank-you gifts. The gift sets even inspired Michelin and other Fortune 500 companies to request a similar product. Social media erupted with photos and comments from recipients such as, “The MLS welcome-wagon is no joke. Loving the tech-friendly goodies!”
