Kraken Merchandiser Hires Former Macy’s Exec to Lead Supply Chain

Bensussen Deutsch & Associates, a branding giant and Seattle Kraken merchandise operator, has hired former Macy’s executive Jen Getchell as its divisional vice president for its global supply chain.

Previously, Getchell worked as vice president role, which officially began in October, she supports BDA’s growth into new markets and private
label expansions, co-founder and CEO Jay Deutsch said.

“Jen brings the perfect combination of experience in product strategy, creation and management, and global supply chain expertise,” Deutsch said in a news release.

Founded in 1984, the Woodinville-based company does merchandising work for pro sports leagues such as the NFL, NBA and MLB, as well as entertainment companies and major corporations from Starbucks to Coca-Cola to Amazon. It’s also the official merchandising partner of the Seattle Kraken. BDA has nearly 50 offices across the world, and in 2021, the company’s revenue surpassed $351 million – a 25% increase from 2020.

In the last few years, the company has acquired Idea Planet, a Dallas-based video game merchandiser, and BrandVia, which worked with tech companies like Adobe, Meta and Netflix.
