International producer of wine, beer, and sprits, Constellation Brands, enlisted BDA to help Corona target football fans with a storefront-worthy display for football season – one of the top beer selling periods of the year. They wanted to incite social media to promote brand awareness and ensure merchandise arrived to beer distributors across the country in time to secure promotional floor space.
BDA secured approval to use the likeness of Coach Jon Gruden for a 4-foot bobblehead display and a 7" mini version for prizes and giveaways. Leveraging in-house design and supply chain management expertise, BDA distributed the army of 4-foot bobbleheads to 4,400 retail locations nationwide and 15,000 7-inch bobbleheads for prizes and giveaways using a vast national infrastructure.
The army of 4-foot Jon Gruden bobbleheads significantly increased beer sales and market share for Constellation Brands. Social media erupted with images of the bobblehead displays, promoting Corona brand awareness. Furthermore, BDA saved Constellation Brands more than 50% in shipping costs with distribution from eight different ports.
