Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

A Company for All

At BDA, we are committed to reflecting the diversity of the communities where we live and work.

BDA DIVERSITY MISSION STATEMENT

We stand together to help educate ourselves, support our communities, and inspire meaningful change that brings us all closer together.

We are committed to reflecting the diversity of the communities where we work and live, and feel a sense of responsibility to give back to them through inclusion and support.

We strive to create a culture and work environment that provides all employees equal access to information, career development and opportunity. To do this, we believe in building a culture that embraces equal representation and the belief that everyone should be heard and the best ideas come when everyone is encouraged to give them.

We have an unshakeable belief in our ability and position to influence and help champion equal representation, and to select partners who share our commitment to diversity and inclusion. A culture built on equality and empowerment brings us closer to our employees, our vendors and our customers, fueling innovative ideas, unique experiences and reinforces the spirit of continuous improvement.

We believe our differences make us better.

WHAT DIVERSITY MEANS TO YOU

To me, diversity means acceptance and respect. We all have a responsibility to accept and respect the fact that each person is unique, and we all have our differences. Diversity should go above and beyond just being tolerant of others, but also to make a conscious decision to want to learn from others.

Client Services Coordinator

WHAT DIVERSITY MEANS TO YOU

Being able to be who you are without judgement. It is what makes someone unique. The beauty that comes from our differences. Being inclusive of that diversity is how we change the world.

WHAT DIVERSITY MEANS TO YOU

Diversity, equality, and inclusion are extremely important to me, together and on their own. When I think of diversity, I think about representation across many categories such as race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, background, invisible and visible disabilities, and truly anything else that shapes someone into the person they are. It is important because the wider our breadth of experience, as a company and a team, the stronger we are.

Account Manager

WHAT DIVERSITY MEANS TO YOU

Understandin of experiences. Experiences both good and bad. Understanding different cultures, what their cultures mean to the individual and how that culture is different than mine. But also understanding the negative experiences due to culture, color of skin or religious background. What they do differently in their lives because of those details and how those experiences and actions make them feel and how they impact their decisions and lifestyles.
