A Company Where You Belong

At BDA, we are committed to reflecting the diversity of the communities in which we live and work.

BDA Diversity Mission Statement

We stand together to educate ourselves, support our communities, and create meaningful change that brings us all closer together.

We are committed to reflecting the diversity of the communities in which we work and live, and recognize our responsibility to build connections through inclusion and support.

We strive to create a culture and work environment that provides all employees equal access to information, career development, and opportunity. To do this, we work to build a culture that embraces equal representation and our employees’ voices are heard. The best ideas come when everyone is encouraged and supported to share.

We have an unshakeable belief in our ability and position to influence and champion equal representation. We select only partners who share our commitment to diversity and inclusion. A culture built on equality and empowerment brings us closer to our employees, our vendors, and our customers, fueling innovative ideas and unique experiences while reinforcing the spirit of continuous improvement.

We believe our differences make us better.

Chin Community of Indiana

Since 2000, the Chin Community of Indiana (CCI) has sought to enhance the quality of life for its nearly 23,000 Burmese (Myanmar and Chin) refugee members by empowering self-sufficiency and encouraging contribution to societal, social, and economic development. BDA is an employment partner with CCI supporting its mission to secure good employment and subsequent income and benefits for its members, a key foothold towards a productive life and relocation. Foreseeing obstacles to connect due to language barriers, BDA brings translators to bridge the gap in communication and meet employees where they are.

One Love Foundation

One Love Foundation is a national nonprofit with the goal of ending relationship abuse. They empower young people with the tools and resources they need to recognize the signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships within their communities by bringing life-saving prevention education. BDA is honored to contribute to One Love Foundation’s work to create a world of healthier relationships.

Diversity Council

At BDA, the principles of diversity and inclusion are woven into our culture – it is a part of who we are. Our Diversity Council guides us in our pursuit of being a responsible, global corporate citizen, yet our true commitment is inherent in the supportive, inclusive, and open work environment and community we strive to create. As such, the mission of the BDA Diversity Council is to identify and create diversity, equity, and inclusion across our company and throughout the global communities we serve. It is an endeavor we’re honored to pursue.

Belonging Groups

BDA’s Belonging Groups exist to support communities of employees with shared lived experiences and identities. Employee led and backed by leadership, these groups foster an environment where employees come together, learn, thrive, and share valuable feedback and insights that benefit the entire organization. Our focus lies in creating a space where everyone feels comfortable and welcomed for their authentic selves, promoting an environment of acceptance and inclusivity.

Our Belonging Groups cultivate inclusivity, support professional development, drive education and awareness, and influence organizational policies. At BDA, diversity and inclusion are not boxes to be checked
– they are what we believe, and how we live.

BOLD – Black/African American Employees and Allies

Connecting BOLD (Black Originators Leaders and Doers) BDA team members to provide a safe space to identify, discuss, and bring awareness to four key pillars that impact our community: wealth, health, quality, and education. We uplift each other while partnering with advocates to break barriers within our industry and community.

PRISM – LGBTQIA+ Employees and Allies

PRISM works to promote a welcoming, safe, and supportive work environment for members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community. We work to drive greater awareness and visibility of the LGBTQ+ community and create an inclusive workplace through policy change and employee education.

RAICES – Hispanic Employees and Allies

RAICES, meaning ‘roots’, is a gathering of BDA employees descended from ancestors in South America, Central America, Mexico, Europe, and beyond. A group of individuals interwoven by shared history, RAICES seeks to ignite, uplift, and build intra-cultural awareness while bringing their ethno-cultural roots and ancestral knowledge and practices to the larger community.

RADIANT – Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Employees and Allies

The mission of RADIANT is to educate, bring awareness, learn, and grow together as a community in celebration of the AAPI and Asian cultures. As the largest identified ethnic group at BDA, we enhance the professional and personal development of our members and strengthen connections with the AAPI community and its allies through support and outreach.
