Worldwide Delivery Expertise

BDA uses a customized eCommerce solution and ERP system that are vertically integrated. All orders—web, catalog, or custom—are entered, processed, managed and tracked in real-time. Everything from order placement to inventory management to invoicing and reporting is consolidated through one system.

Our pick, pack and ship services are managed by a fully automated and integrated order processing and inventory control system. We process client orders upon receipt, and 75% of all orders ship within 24 hours. From our Plainfield, Ind., distribution center, we can ship to 80% of the U.S. population within three days via ground rates. Our dedicated material handlers are responsible for picking, inspecting, packaging and shipping more than 350,000 orders per year. We also provide such value-added services as kitting, gift wrapping, hang-tagging and labeling.

Tracking

BDA has a multi-carrier shipping management system integrated within our business enterprise platform. All shipments are assigned a tracking number in real-time at the point of shipping and are easily accessible by any account team member.

Program managers, account coordinators and customer service representatives are all available to provide real-time order tracking status at any time via phone, fax or e-mail. We also provide real-time order tracking online with direct links to our shipping carriers.

Compliance

Our Import Services and Logistics teams (including our staff in Shenzhen, China) ensure the rules, regulations and policies for importing and exporting merchandise are being followed. BDA acts as importer of record, responsible for clearance of U.S. Customs.

Our Manager of Logistics is a licensed U.S. Customs Broker, and serves as BDA's onsite expert in this capacity. We oversee customs, quotas, tariffs, brokers' fees, duties and currency exchanges in an efficient manner within the borders of each territory. BDA routinely exports goods to customers in dozens of countries in the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, South America and throughout the Pacific Rim.
