BDA has taken an industry leading position to actively address quality control and assurance issues through supply chain safety and security. For us, it’s not just a business obligation, but a social consciousness obligation, too. All of our products meet and exceed the most stringent safety and security regulations on a worldwide basis.

Factory Pre-selection Process – Before production even begins, BDA thoroughly inspects and checks our partner factories to ensure that all regulations are up to code.  They must also comply with local labor laws and social compliance standards.  There are no exceptions.

Supplier Pre-selection Process – All suppliers fill out a “Supplier Profile” that allows us to “pre-qualify” a supplier being set up in our system.  BDA ensures that suppliers are capable of handling the type of work we expect of them.  Suppliers who do not meet performance standards are “closed” for activity in our purchasing system.

BDA China – BDA maintains an office of 50 Associates in Shenzen, China. This critical presence allows us to visit factories and perform on-site quality control and process measures through product development, patent and trademark protection, production, quality testing, distribution and fulfillment.

C-TPAT Certification – BDA is committed to protecting your brand, your customers, and anyone interacting with your products.  Because of this commitment, we have gone through a rigorous yearlong qualification process with the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT).  Sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security, C-TPAT is a voluntary program to build government-business cooperation in strengthening international supply chains and U.S. border security. BDA has joined the fewer than 3,000 companies nationwide that have become C-TPAT members and, through the process, validated our existing quality assurance and security processes.

As a certified member of C-TPAT, BDA shipments receive preferential treatment at the U.S. border, increasing our efficiency on your behalf.
