BDA Announces Expansion of Client Base Through Logistix Acquisition

Nation's Largest Merchandise Agency™ to Acquire Subsidiary of EMAK Worldwide, Inc.

WOODINVILLE, Wash. – February 9, 2011 — Bensussen Deutsch & Associates, Inc. (BDA), the nation's premier Merchandise Agency™ and recognized leader in sports and entertainment merchandise activation, today announced that it has entered an agreement to acquire selected assets of Logistix, the LA-based marketing services subsidiary of EMAK. Logistix represents multi-national clients through offices in the U.S. and Asia, including a mix of consumer products and entertainment technology companies. Terms of the deal are not being disclosed.

The acquisition includes key personnel and customer accounts from Logistix's U.S., Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China offices, enabling BDA to reinforce its global marketing footprint with incountry resources and product support. Logistix also brings a proven expertise in kids' toy and premium sectors, and impressive consumer packaged goods support capabilities.

This latest acquisition represents BDA's third in the past 12 months and follows the company's earlier acquisition of Evigna, a Michigan-based promotional merchandise distributor, which closed in May 2010.
