Coffee Meets Couture
This year, Starbucks celebrates 40 years of coffee, culture and its evolution into a global icon.
To mark the occasion, the coffee giant invited the past three recipients of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award to design a line of Starbucks-inspired T-shirts. BDA was contracted to handle the manufacturing and fulfillment and distribution of the shirts, which are available at StarbucksStore.com and select Nordstrom locations.
This project wasn’t about printing graphics on stock shirts. BDA needed to create custom garments from scratch that lived up to the exacting standards of each fashion designer.
The shirts went on sale Monday, Sept. 19, and will be available for a limited time. InStyle.com, New York Magazine and other fashion media outlets and blogs covered the release.
