It was a sea of flashbulbs as all the big stars came out for BDA Holiday Party.
BDA co-founders Eric Bensussen and Jay Deutsch handed out prizes to 2010's top performers to cap last week's AMP festivities at the Grand Hyatt Seattle.
Employee of the Year honors went to import buyer Stanley Tang, who was instrumental in executing the launch one of the most sought-after gifts of 2010—a graphics tablet for the Nintendo Wii.
"Stanley has worked tirelessly to ensure the best possible costing and product quality. He worked numerous hours with our China team to ensure a steady communication flow," said director of import services Dawn Rumpf. "His diligence in managing multiple product changes, internal/external approvals, testing requirements and logistical requests resulted in BDA receiving official approval on a completely new and innovative product."
The night's other big winners were:
• Suzy Finn, Purchasing, ProBuy Award
• Sherry Maupin, Sales Operations Manager, Leadership Award
