Name: Name: Sydney Tanner – Director of Program Sales
Bio: Sydney joins BDA as the new Director of Program Sales to help advance eCommerce goals and expertise. Before coming to BDA, Sydney led site and email merchandising for Sur La Table and managed eCommerce and site merchandising for Eddie Bauer, accumulating over a decade of experience in the field. She is analytically driven and passionate about understanding clients’ needs to bring best options to grow and expand their business.
What You Bring to the Team:
With over 15 years of field and team management experience, I believe my skills in competitive eCommerce and digital analytics will make a big impact.I’ve worked with multiple third-party vendors in BI solutions and understand the key levers to implement and lean into that will help drive the business.
Why BDA? I wanted to work for a company that values its team and people. I can tell that BDA does that and does it well.
What Do You Hope to Accomplish in Your New Role? My goal is to push our eCommerce program sales forward. We can accomplish this through subtle site improvements and segmented email campaigns as well as deliver best-in-class customer service through our sites.
Hidden Talent: I have a sommelier’s palate. I can identify a single wine varietal in a blind taste test (most of the time).
Childhood Nickname: People generally call me Sydney or Syd. However, Sydney is preferred.
