Experience Requirements
- 3-5 yrs Account management experience within the ad specialty, promotional products/ merchandise industry. You have an up-to-date rolodex with the ability to bring a book of business with you to BDA.
- Creativity and experience in product and/or concept development.
- Excellent Customer Service and Client Relationship Building skills. You get up every day with the desire to go sell!
- Proven track record of increasing sales through client development, and managing C-level relationships.
- Experience developing and managing business with Fortune 500 clients.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish a marketing plan to achieve sales goals within your client company
- Make sales calls; develop and increase business within the client company and develop opportunities for new business
- Develop creative ideas for clients' external marketing projects and internal employee incentive projects
- Promote and encourage ongoing programs and sales
- Work with sales coordinators - directing work flow and projects
- Work with vendors to ensure quality of products, get up to date information on the coolest, hottest trends, negotiate pricing, and ensure quality production and timely delivery of products
- Work within assigned budgets and tight deadlines
- Understand financial aspects of sales role, gross margins, sales reports, etc.
- Maintain profitability
- Increase Sales - consistently grow the business within the client company
- Encourage overall client relations - exhibit high levels of customer service to ensure smooth operations and happy customers. Be accessible for your clients, show them your creativity, walk their halls, and bring them value every day.
- Maintain ease of process and high levels of professionalism when interacting with BD&A employees as well as the client, while allowing for flexibility and change within the office and client's needs.
