Licensing Giant Aims for Aggressive Growth in 2008
Woodinville, Wash. -- Feb. 07, 2008 -- Bensussen Deutsch & Associates, Inc. (BDA) has appointed two new executives to its fast growing Consumer Products Division, which produces the broadest, top-selling line of licensed video game accessories around the world. Lucky Evani, promoted to Divisional Vice President of Sales, will spearhead BDA sales through the development of new relationships with software and hardware providers while growing partnerships with existing licensors. Steven Cramer, newly hired as Divisional Vice President of Product, will oversee the development of creative and innovative products to meet the growing needs of BDA’s current and future clients.
Evani is responsible for directing all aspects of the sales organization’s activities including strategic planning, relationships with licensors and channel marketing. His promotion comes after serving two years as Director of Sales for BDA Consumer Products where he was instrumental in making the division the fastest growing business unit within the company. Prior to joining BDA, Evani spent more than 10 years at Toys “R” Us, most recently as a Video Game buyer.
“Lucky has been a key contributor to the dramatic growth and success of BDA’s Consumer Products Division by producing results in a highly competitive environment, and this is a well-deserved promotion,” said Eric Bensussen, President, BDA. “We’re certain that the passion and commitment Lucky has delivered in the past will continue to propel us toward dramatic sales growth.”
Cramer will set strategic direction and vision for the product division, while also supporting the development of innovative marketing plans. He will also lead the implementation of long-term corporate frameworks and best practices, and create original products that reinforce BDA’s outstanding track record over the competition. Cramer was formerly Vice President of Product Development at Pacific Market International and Director of Advanced Concepts Development for Coleman Sporting Goods before that.
“Steve is an inspired manager who has the technical and practical know-how to bring to market the creative and unique types of products that have made BDA stand out from the crowd,” said Jeff Hansen, VP and General Manager, Consumer Products Division. “His track record of identifying market opportunities within consumer-driven brands will allow us to engage our customer base in new and exciting ways. Steve’s expertise will be invaluable as BDA continues to expand its market share around the world.”
